Edwardsville loves Laurie’s Place, one of the mainstays of the local music scene. Sit outside at the patio, where Laurie’s regularly hosts local musicians in the afternoon, or check out their two separate bars, both of which also regularly feature live music. The young crowd is fun and the atmosphere is friendly.

This Edwardsville joint is a local favorite for good music, good beer, and decent food. The interior mixes hippie and hillbilly just right and the folks inside won’t disappoint you. You can come to hear some good live music, play some shuffle board or just chat up some locals.

Shenanigans Bar & Grill

This is a favorite for SIUE students partially because it is walkable distance from the campus. Not a bad place to throw back some drinks and catch a game. Mostly a sports bar with some decent food and drinks for not too pricey.

Big Daddy’s Edwardsville

Big Daddy’s always has drink specials and cheap eats. Lots of DJ and dance music to come and shake your tail to. Check out the beats, grab something to eat, and drink. This is an SIUE favorite because they are always throwing specials their way.

Erato On Main

Erato has one of the best drink menus in the Saint Louis area.

This downtown Edwardsville bar brings the chic to Edwardsville. Sample one of the best beer and wine menus in the greater St. Louis area. Erato is a great place to sip some a drink, listen to music, and have good conversation with friends.

The silliest, hillbilliest bar in Edwardsville judging from their MySpace photos. At this quaint little Edwardsville bar everyone knows your name. You can play darts or board games, or you can just drink yourself silly playin tunes on the old Juke box.
