Edwardsville Arts Center Art Opening

Edwardsville Arts Center (EAC) hosts “Impressed by Design: Letterpress in the Heartland,” at the EAC. Five letterpress artists will share a range of the printed art from the fine-art book to expressive folk art. The exhibit opens on Wednesday, August 26, at 11 am and There is also a fundraiser party on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 6 to 9 pm put on by Creativille, Inc. With a $10 admission, gift shop purchases, and general donations, Creativille hopes to raise $10,000 for the arts center. Exhibit ends Oct. 3. Visit the EAC site for more info. Artists include: Amos Kennedy, Jr., Ken Botnick, Eric Woods, Jim Sherraden and Brady Vest.
