Bonifest 2010 in Edwardsville

Summer is here in Edwardsville. How do we know? The traditional start-of-Summer event in Edwardsville, Bonifest, is happening  May 28-29 of Memorial Day weekend.  Bonifest 2010, fundraiser for the St. Bonifest Parish, which marks the 26th anniversary of the Bonifest event, will include all popular activities of previous years.

These include the 11^th Annual 5k Run, a breakfast-pancake show and the 2^nd annual Bonifest Rib Cook-Off contest. There will also be bingo, draws with the opportunity to win up to $50,000 and a live auction.

Music for the event will be provided by local Edwardsville bands Joyride and Downstairs Band. There will also be  bands from St. Louis playing at the event including Phins and Paint The Earth.

The festival runs 4 pm – 11 pm, Friday and 8.30 am – 11 pm, Saturday.
