Edwardsville Music Calendar for June
Editor | Jun 10, 2010 | Comments 1
Hey Edwardsville! Make all you music plans for the month here. As usual, we’ve got a great lineup this month, including some local favorites such as Aaron Kamm and the One Drops, and Butch Moore, as well as out-of-town bands like GreyMarket and Pik’n Lik’n. Let us know if we missed your event, and we’ll add it to the calendar.
Click band links to get more info such as times, samples of their music and more.

Sunday, June 13
Nothing like reggae by Aaron Kamm and the One Drops outside on a (hopefully) sunny summer day in Edwardsville.
Butch Moore keeps Edwardsville’s popular open mic night going at the Stagger Inn. Many a local band got its start here. Come out and see the up-and-coming local talent.
Monday, June 14
This week’s mystery band is Hill Williams over at Laurie’s Place. Any clues to what kind of music this band plays would be greatly appreciated. For some reason though, the name Hill Williams strikes me as country music.
Friday, June 18
The Five and Dimers keep bringing the music to Edwardsville’s summer Arts in the Park series
Come hear some terrific bluegrass down at the old Stagger Inn when Pik’n Lik’n comes to town to play a breast cancer benefit. See a clip of their music below. It’s a hell of a way to blow off some steam after the work week..

Come check out some great St. Louis rock in Edwardsville when Feather and Stone come to The Stagger Inn.
See Mo’ Pleasure in the Laurie’s Place front bar, and Who’s Drivin’ an Edwardsville Rock n’ Roll staple, plays the back bar.

Florida rockers GreyMarket play for Edwardsville at The Stagger Inn in tonight. From the looks of the videos below, it’s a show worth checking out.

Broken Arrow plays their reunion show at the Stagger Inn tonight. We missed the original incarnation of this band, so if anyone has info, feel free to fill us in.
Don’t get them confused: last night the Matt Steel Band played Laurie’s, tonight it’s the Mike Lacey Band, offering some sweet New Orleans swing music in the Laurie’s Place front bar earlier, while Jamhouse jams out in back later on.
Sunday, June 27
Mayhem at Laurie’s Place! Acoustic Mayhem that is. Sounds like fun. Check ‘em out below.
Wednesday, June 29

That’s it for now. If you’ve got a gig, or know of one, that you don’t see on here, feel free to email us or give the info in comments below.
