Mississippi Sheiks at The Stagger

Morris Henderson and the Mississippi Sheiks play the Stagger Saturday, September 4, and again on Friday, September 24 starting around 9:30 pm. According to the Wikipedia entry for the Mississippi Sheiks, this band was a country blues band that formed in 1930 and broke up in 1935. According to a MySpace site about the band, they’re all dead now. We’re not sure what, if any, relation this has to the show tonight.
