SIUE Welcome Back Block Party in Downtown Edwardsville

The SIUE Welcome Back Block Party starts at 6 pm August 27. You won’t have any trouble finding it in the 100 Blocks of St. Louis Street and 2nd Street in downtown Edwardsville. Just look for an enormous crowd.

The event is free, and includes live music by Johnny Rock-Itt and activities including a mechanical bull, wax hands, airbrush tattoos, digital photos, carnival games, and more. Edwardsville businesses will sell food and other items.

For SIUE students, there will be free shuttles from the residence halls and Cougar Village throughout the night. Also, SIUE students can sign up for a drawing to win an Ipad! Just bring your student ID and visit the CAB table to enter.

This free event is sponsored by the City of Edwardsville and SIUE.
