Lighting the Trails Special Olympics Fundraiser

Take a lighted night time bike ride in Glen Carbon, have a great time, and help raise money for the Special Olympics on Friday, October 9, with the Lighting the Trails for Special Olympics Family Lighted Bike Ride. There will be food, fun attendance prizes and prizes for best illuminated bike decorations by age group. Registration is from 6-7:30pm at the Madison County Transit Park & Ride (see map below). Judging starts 6:45 pm. Cyclists can choose from three rides, the 5 Mile Night Crawler, the 12 Mile Night Challeng Ride, and the 22 Mile Ride (ride the night challenge 2 times). The bike trail will be illuminated by the Village of Glen Carbon and property owners on the trail.
Prizes awarded for: Best Overall Decorations / Loudest Cheering Section / Brightest Lighting/ Biggest Camp Site
Preregister before October 2 for $17, $12 for kids under 12 and receive a free T-shirt. After October 2, prices are are $20, $15 for kids under 12.
