Once again, it’s a packed musical month in Edwardsville. There’s reggae, rock, country, blues, bluegrass, and plenty of mystery bands that we’d love to know more about. Check out what we’ve got for the month, and feel free to contact us if we missed something. Below you’ll find brief descriptions of bands, and a view video sample of them. Wednesday, May 5
Mo’ Pleasure band, by far Edwardsville’s busiest band, plays a total of 9 times this May at Laurie’s, including today.
Thursday, May 6
Sip some wine (or gulp if you like) and listen to some live music at Springers Creek winery.
Local musician Jason Garms plays Laurie’s front bar.
Knife Fight at the Stagger! St. Louis band Kentucky Knife Fight plays their one-of-a-kind music at the Stagger Inn.
Edwardsville reggae rockers Aaron Kamm & the One Drops play Laurie’s back bar.

Friday, May 7
The Mondin Band plays rock and blues at the Stagger Inn.

Saturday, May 8
Didn’t get enough reggae this week? Reggae Redemption will be at the Stagger Inn tonight.
Rukus makes a ruckus of various covers, from the Beastie Boys to The Ramones, tonight at Laurie’s Place. There’s also be a jam session in Laurie’s front bar with Mo’ Pleasure band a little earlier.
Doc Holiday plays some country, rock and swing tunes on his steel guitar at Bourbon Street Restaurant and Bar.
Sunday, May 9
Cumberland Gap guitarist and lead singer Greg Silsby plays Laurie’s.
Check out the Scott Seggi Elvis show at Bourbon Street Restaurant and Bar at 7:30 pm. That’s right folks, it’s a real Elvis impersonator, right here in Edwardsville.

Monday, May 10
Laurie’s Place keeps up with a constant music line up this month, with Hill Williams tonight.
Wednesday, May 12
Mo’ Pleasure? Yep, more Mo’ Pleasure at Laurie’s.
Thursday, May 13
Mystery band Roscoe & Otis play the Stagger Inn. If you have any info on what type of music they play, drop us a line.
Laurie’s Place has Jason Garms in the front bar, then switches things up with a DJ tonight, DJ Too Tall.
Friday, May 14
Get some more Rukus at Laurie’s.
The Ground Floor Band brings some real St. Louis blues to Edwardsville. Check them out in the video below, or keep scrolling for more May music.
Saturday, May 15
Mo’ Pleasure just keeps on bringing it, this time with another jam session, at Laurie’s.
The Crowd, another May mystery band, plays what we assume will be music also at Laurie’s. Once again, feel free to pass us any info you’ve got about the band.
Irony Rains (gotta love that name) plays some cool music over at the Stagger Inn. Follow the link to see some video of the band.
Sunday, May 16
Matt Steel and Curt Brewer bring some smart country and jazz down to Laurie’s Place.
The Rockets blast off at Bourbon Street.
Thursday, May 20
The Kevin Leeman Trio will play some mystery music at the Stagger Inn. Feel free to contact us with info on this bands style, or whereabouts.

Friday, May 21
St. Louis Jazz man Marcel Strong plays at the Stagger Inn.
Local classic rockers Who’s Drivin’ plays Laurie’s.

Double down on your Mo’ Pleasure today, when the band plays both a front bar jam session at Laurie’s in the afternoon, and the back at night. Also check out the
Luster, a cool little band from Elmhurst, Il. plays the Stagger Inn. Check them out in the video below.
Sunday, May 23
No better way to spend a sunny (fingers crossed) afternoon than sipping a cold one and listening to reggae provided by Aaron Kamm and the One Drops on Laurie’s patio.
Thursday, May 27
Jason Garms and DJ Too Tall fill their Thursday slots at Laurie’s.
Friday, May 28
St. Louis blues legends Soulard Blues Band lay down some serious tunes at the Stagger Inn.
The Matt Steel Band, made up of SIUE music department students, and playing a mix of country and rock, are at Laurie’s.
Saturday, May 29
Our final mystery band of the month, The Dubtronics, play some kind of music over at The Stagger Inn.
Sunday, May 30
Matt Steel and Curt Brewer do an encore performance at Laurie’s.
