The Matt Steel Band at Laurie’s

The Matt Steel Band plays Laurie’s Place in downtown Edwardsville on Friday, July 30, starting at 9.30 pm. This band is made up of a group of musicians who studied at SIUE’s excellent music program. Expect a great mix of country and rock.

Matt Steel will play Laurie’s with a special guest on July 25 from 4 – 8 pm.

DJ Too Tall does some DJ-ing at the back bar in Laurie’s Place in Edwardsville from 9:30 pm – 1.30 am on July 8, 15 and 22. We wonder if he ever plays any Too Short? Let us know if you know.

Mo’ Pleasure at Laurie’s Place

If you are looking for Mo’ Pleasure , as in Morris Pleasure, you will find him at the front bar at Laurie’s Place each Wednesday and Saturday in July. He will play a gig from 6.30 pm to 10 pm Wednesdays and Jam Sessions Saturdays from 2 pm to 6 pm (July 17,31) and from 1 pm – 5 pm (July 24).

For those looking for even mo Mo’ Pleasure he will play a double bill on Saturday July 17 with a Jam Session from 2 pm to 6 pm and with the Mo’ Pleasure band from 6 pm – 10 pm.

There will be an even bigger treat at the back bar on Friday, July 9 when Mo’ takes to the stage from 9.30 pm to 1.30 am.
