Kids Winter Camp: Cook’n in the Kitchen at Stephenson House

Spend the morning in the warmth of the Stephenson House kitchen learning to cook in an open-hearth and beehive oven on January 8, 2011. Day campers get to make a simple yeast bread, butter and shortbread with a Cook’n in the Kitchen event from 9 am – 12 pm. Participation costs $45 per child.

Registration is required. Open to children in grades 3rd-6th. Limit of 8 children. Payment is due at time of registration to insure placement in the class.

Kids Christmas Cooking Class at Eckert’s Farm

Kids will learn how to make 7 delicious recipes that will make any party or holiday celebration a big hit at Eckert’s Country Store in Belleville from December 22 to 29. Classes take place from 10 am – 12 pm.

Breakfast With Santa at Eckert’s Farm

Join Santa for breakfast on Eckert’s farm on November 28 between 8 am and noon.

Children can tell Santa their Christmas wishes. Santa has a special gift for each child. The moment will be captured in a photo of your child with Santa. Reservations are suggested. YMCA Children’s Soccer Skills Camp

If you think your little one might have what it takes to be the next Pele or Mia Hamm then bring them along to Edwardsville YMCA for its soccer skills camp between July 19 and 22. The camp is for children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Camp runs from 9:30-10:45 am.

The cost for members is $20 or $30 for non-members.

Camp will take place at the YMCA soccer fields located at SIUE (next to Korte Stadium).
